Is your ferret thin and not eating?
There can be several reason why your ferret is getting thin and not eating. If you have a young kit, or a ferret who is only a few years old, this could be caused by a number of diseases or sicknesess. Some of them could include any of the issues listed on our ferret diseases page.
However, in some cases, if you have an older feret, your ferret will
not eat anything, no matter what you do.
In this case, the best advice that I can offer is chicken baby food.
This was reccomended to me by a vet, and has worked great for all of
my ferrets.
Why chicken? They seem to like it the best. It may take some "force feeding" at first, but once they get a taste of it, they love it, and will continue to eat it up.
